How We Began
Our firm began, fittingly, with a small act of service. Founder and CEO, Christopher West, had planned to meet a close friend, only to find him tied up with something no one enjoys: setting up his home internet. It struck Christopher that his friend, like so many accomplished people, had no one to take such things off their plate. So he set out to help find their first assistant.
He approached that search the way he continues to now: patiently, personally, and with great care for the match. The assistant he placed proved to be exactly right. Years later, the assistant now serves that same household as its Chief of Staff.
That first placement taught us what this firm was built on. The right person, thoughtfully chosen, does not simply fill a role. They grow with a household and become part of its story. We have been making matches in that spirit ever since.
Philosophy
Privacy. Safety. Security.
These three commitments guide everything we do. They are what families entrust to us when they open their homes, and what professionals deserve when they place their careers in our hands.
Our mission is to serve principals who use their resources to drive positive change in the world, and to connect exceptional candidates with careers aligned with their skills and professional trajectory. We fill each role with quality, sincerity, and discretion, honoring the culture of each household and what every family hopes to carry forward.
In practice, this means every search is confidential on both sides. We vet thoroughly, know our candidates well before we present them, and speak honestly with everyone involved. A family should feel completely at ease with the person entering their home; a professional should feel certain they can thrive in the household they are joining.
What we build, in every engagement, is a relationship that lasts. Privacy, safety, and security are simply what lasting trust requires, and in this field, nothing less will do.
Our Beliefs
We believe the best placements are the ones where no one had to settle. When a search concludes, the family should feel they found someone better than they imagined, and the professional should feel they found a home worthy of their skill. If both sides quietly suspect they got the better end of the arrangement, we have done our job.
Reaching that outcome is a collaborative effort. We work closely with the household to understand not just the role but the way the home actually runs, and we work just as closely with our candidates, speaking honestly about every opportunity and never putting someone forward for a position we would not want for them. Throughout the search, we share what we learn in both directions, because a match made with full information is a match that holds.
What we are building, in the end, is mutual benefit that compounds over time. A professional who feels valued gives their best work. A family that feels well served extends trust and opportunity in return. Each strengthens the other, year after year, and the household becomes more than the sum of the people in it. That is the outcome we measure ourselves against, and the reason we stay close to both sides long after the hire.
